Wounded Knee

On December 29, 1890, Lakota Chief, Big Foot led his people to be massacred by the US 7th Calvary Regiment near Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.  Somewhere close to 300 Native American men, women, and children were killed at Wounded Knee.
