May is officially known as Military Appreciation Month.  During this month we remember those who serrved their country and have made sacrifces for their country.  May is the perfect month for Military Appreciation month not only because Memorial Day is in May but also Military Spouse Appreciation Day, Armed Forces day, VE Day, which commemorates the end of WWII in Europe in 1945, and Children of Fallen Patriots Day.  During Military Appreciation Month we honor members from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Space Force and National Guard.

Typically the day is celebrated with parties, picnics, and parades in honor of local active duty, Guard, Reserve and military veteran communities.

How do you celebrate Military Apprecation Month?  Let me know.  Also tell me if you have family members that are or were in the military and I will share the very many family members that I have that have fought in The American Reveloution, War of 1812, Civil War, almost World War I, World War II and Viet Nam.
