According to Ward Hill Lamon, Abraham Lincoln’s former law partner, friend, and bodyguard, Abraham Lincoln had a dream months before his death. In this strange dream, Abraham Lincoln woke up and began walking through the White House. He could hear people crying, he entered the East Room, he saw a group of people gathered around a casket. Lincoln, in his dream, asked a soldier who had died. The soldier replied that the president had died and that he had been murdered by an assassin.
But did he really dream this event? Got to Teachinghistory to find out more!
